About Me

I love to travel and I’m up for any type of getaway – girls trips, long weekends with my husband, school holiday vacations with my kids (I have 4!). Sometimes i prefer a relaxing holiday, where the weather is hot, I’m relaxing by a pool, cocktail in hand…But, then I also love an adventure, shopping and exploring a new place taking in all the sights and smells.

If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you’ll see I love to take photos of my holidays. I also love scrolling through social media looking at others’ travel pics and getting inspiration for my next holiday.

From my own experiences you’ll learn where to stay, places to eat, instagrammable places (check out my insta here), best resorts, villas, what activities and sightseeing to do and which tour companies to use. You’ll also learn where not to stay and what not to do! All this knowledge will help you plan and enjoy your next trip.

My first overseas trip was when i was 17, a cruise from Perth to Bali with my mum, dad and two siblings. In my 20s I did lots of travel within Australia with my husband and daughter, including WA, QLD and quick visits to Sydney and Melbourne. In my 30s I mostly traveled to South-East Asia. Now as I enter my 40s my travel desires are heading towards Europe – keep an eye out on my Instagram and Facebook for my next adventure the Greek Islands. Can. Not. Wait!!

This website has come about for a couple of reasons, one, it’s a fun way for me to document my travels and showcase my photos. Two, to help others plan and enjoy their own holidays. It’s always easier when someone else has already done it, and shares their highs and lows, what to do, what not to do, where to eat, where to shop and most importantly where the most instagrammable places are!

If you’ve got the travel bug, have a read through my articles. Comment or send me a message if you want to know more. But before you do that, enter your email below and I’ll be sure to let you know when a new article is posted plus you’ll get some extras that aren’t always on the website or my social media channels.

Kristy x
